Would it be possible to put a screen shot of your team's stats at the end of each week or month perhaps? Extend the batters and pitchers to the right so we can see all of the current stats. Maybe the same with your minor leagues so we can follow them as well.

Here's my roster. I'm designing my team to focus on 3 things: flexibility, depth and balance. This is how I can carry 10 pitchers, 5 of them being starters, even though I use a 4-man rotation. Actually, though, the 4th spot is open to either Gregg or Branca, because of the doubleheaders and occasional long relief. Note that I have no "superstars" on the team, with the possible exception of Hal Newhouser, and that every player contributes.

If only some of your players would hit a little better, you could be killing it with that pitching staff. It really looks pretty good. Thanks for the screenshot. When I play more modern, I carry 11 pitchers and try to carry an extra starter or two if I can in the bullpen even if I have a better RP just to eat some innings if the original starter gets knocked out early or inured. As luck would have it, I am playing a few games at a time in 2013, changing owner each game to play them all. I was Pittsburg with Liriano starting against the Cubs. Liriano got hurt on the first batter, who eventually scored. he had the 1/3 of an inning. I had better RPs, but gamble on Morton out of the bullpen because of his longer endurance and higher pitch count. It didn't work as he got knocked around and lasted 2 innings. Ended up using two more the rest of the game. Lost and Liriano with his whole 1/3 of an inning took the loss. Of course it is slow going doing all the teams, only on the third day so far. At times, I can get in one game and other times I might be able to get 3 or 4 games. I get stuck with other things on most days and can't get to any. When I have more time, I want to go with a career with the rangers again, starting in 72. I worry as the last time, I was simming seasons and after 5, all Ps stuff went to 50. I really wish it wouldn't do that. I could probably go on from there as the most important thing about Ps I look for is high control hoping it cuts down on walks. That is the team I was trying to build on a power OF having Jeff Burroughs already and first pick in the first two drafts, I got Jack Clark and Dale Murphy. Clark had come up and Murphy was close when that happened.

Brooklyn, Mon May 27. We host the 4th place Giants (21-20) on this Memorial Day. Bill Bevens (5-3, 2.63) vs Hal Schumacher (8-1, 3.72). Sunny & 64°, with a very light swirling breeze. In the bottom of the 3rd, Pete Resier hits a RBI double. 1-0, Dodgers. Dodgers win it 1-0. WP, POG Bill Bevens (6-3) allows 2 hits and 6 walks and strikes out 2. LP: Schumacher (8-2) Att: 23,572
This is the 4th shutout our pitching staff has won, which ties us with the Phillies and the AL Red Sox.
We also lead the majors in stolen bases with 36.
The Phillies are idle, so we gain a half-game on them. In the junior circuit, the Red Sox move a game ahead of the Senators.
Team news: we briefly consider a trade with the Athletics, offering them OF Carl Furillo (,252/1/8) and AAA P Don Newcombe (3-0, 3.58) for OF Elmer Valo (.368/1/13) and P Dick Fowler (4-3, 3.59). We think about it and then withdraw the offer, as we value Newcombe too highly, and we already have a good pitching staff at the major-league level. Valo is a high-potential major leaguer, but we elect to stick with Furillo at CF and RF.
------------------------------------------------
Tue May 28. Ralph Branca (1-2, 3.69) vs Monte Kennedy* (4-4, 5.45). Partly cloudy & 70°, with a 13 mph wind in from RF. In the 1st, Willard Marshall homers to RF. 1-0, Giants. In the bottom of the 3rd, Bruce Edwards hits a RBI single. 1-1. In the bottom of the 4th, Phil Cavarretta hits a 3-run double. 4-1, Dodgers. Mike Budnick relieves Kennedy* in the bottom of the 7th. With 1 out and a runeer on 1st in 8th, Art Herring relieves Branca. Dodgers win 4-1. WP: Branca (2-2) LP: Kennedy* (4-5) SV: Herring (1) POG: Irv Hall (2 of 4) Att: 34,000
The Phillies also win, so we remain 2.5 GB them.
Trade news: we send AA SP Paul Minner* (2-3, 6.39) to the Yankees for AA OF Cliff Mapes (.313/9/27). This still leaves us with six SPs in the minors and adds a RF to our minor league roster.
Roster news: we release A P Tony Jacobs.
---------------------------------------------
Wed May 29. Vic Lombardi* (3-3, 4.00) vs Dave Koslo* (5-4, 3.52). Sunny & 59°, with a 11 mph wind in from RF. In the bottom of the 1st, Carl Furillo hits a RBI single. Jackie Robinson hits a 2-run single. 3-0, Dodgers. In the 8th, with no outs and the bases loaded, Ray Prim* relieves Lombardi*. Buddy Blattner hits a RBI single. Babe Young ties it with a 2-run single. With none out and 2 runners on base, Hal Gregg relieves Prim*. Buddy Kerr hits a sac fly, and the Giants take a 4-3 lead. RF Buddy Lewis errors, and another run scores. 5-3. In the bottom of the 8th, Sheldon Jones relieves Koslo*. In the 9th, Hank Behrman relieves Gregg. Giants come back to win it 5-3. WP: Koslo* (6-4) LP: Prim* (0-4) SV: Jones (5) POG: Bill Rigney (2 of 4 with a run scored) Att: 27,627
The Phillies win, so we fall to 3.5 games in back of them.

I always align my players by at bats as well, but pitchers are aligned by GS. Still looking pretty good. little more power and one or two IFers pick up the pace, I think you would be in first. Not much power, but I also don't know much about those days. I sure like following your seasons though.
Thank You!
