As one get older and a longtime supporter of this Gem of a Baseball Game... I have always wondered whatever happened to each member of this unique Game... As I came across this Game, since the Matrix Games Days, back in 2005... There was always this member, Glenn, who welcome any new member to PureSim, as well as, writing his beloved Brooklyn Dodgers... he never quite finished beyond certain number of seasons, every time a new patch came out... he always been a big fan of playing in each and every game... a strict, self-imposed guideline to ensure a non-cheating approach to not to take advantage of the flaws a Game may have... He was a big part of every forum whenever PureSim finds a new home... He was unique... especially with his last name, as we had corresponded, in the past, regarding PureSim...
I had noticed and wondered what he has been up to since his last input to his Beloved Dodgers Dynasty, decided to check on him... I had discovered, with sadness, of his recent passing...

It really sucks, as we all get older... but one thing always remains... Our Love for the Greatest Pastime, Baseball...
"The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come."
Thanks, Glenn, for welcoming me and all your posts...

It is such sad news to hear of the passing of Glenn. I knew he had medical issues, but did not know it was this bad. I will miss Glenn and his Brooklyn Dodger reports. Rest in peace Glenn.

I was profoundly shocked and saddened by the news of Glenn's death. But thank you for sharing, Tomas. I wasn't aware that he had very serious health issues. No wonder he was away from the forums for quite sometime now. We will miss him. Rest in peace, Glenn...

Sad to hear that. He seemed to put a Branch Rickey spin on things. Obviously a Fan of Brooklyn Dodgers, I was always amazed with some of the scenarios that he came up with. Part of my Fathers' Generation, no doubt. God Bless, may his Spirit Rest in Peace...

Very sad to hear of glenn's passing. I read his posts and share his love for baseball (and the rolling stones). He passed too soon. Rest in peace, Glenn.

I know I'm late to this sad story but my heartfelt condolences go out to his family for their loss. He was always a force for the positive side of life and his help enhanced my enjoyment of Puresim. God Bless and Good Journey!

I registered here to post in this thread.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. He was very knowledgeable and we shared a passion for baseball's Golden Age. In fact, it was Glenn who inspired me to write my first dynasty report. I used to tease him about never finishing one, but I think he felt that it could always be better and he wanted to have it just right. We also shared a profession (accountants) and so I understood his perfectionist approach and attention to detail (some might call it anal but I prefer diligent).
So here's to your 1946 Brooklyn Dodgers, Glenn! If they have computers in heaven, I know you have a new dynasty going already.
P.S. Hello to Tomas, Don, and my other old friends. I am still playing OOTP. You can find me over there, bitching about their game now.

Hello ORCIN!!! So very good to hear from you. I have looked for you on OOTP. It is such a sad thing to hear of Glenn's passing. As I said before, I knew he was sick but never dreamed it was so serious.
