Does the height of the outfield wall influence whether a fly ball is a home run or just a ricochet back into the playing field? I am playing v6.11. I had a home run hit into left-center that went 379 ft, the wall height in left center was 50 foot tall and the distance to the wall varied from 365 feet to 385 feet along that portion of the outfield. I think it is possible for a ball to clear that wall and land 379 feet at the point nearest the left field foul line along that portion of the fence; but it brought up the question whether the wall height I am putting into the dimensions of 390 stadiums does come into play. I am altering at least half the stadiums so that fence height is an important factor in the game play.
Does anyone know for certain whether the wall height is just a cosmetic notation or does it really come into play?

You, sir, should be ashamed of yourself for using someone's highly and respected name in the Baseball Gaming world... and putting down, in my opinion, the greatest free Baseball Game on the market... find me a Baseball Game as Pure and Simple as PureSim... Yes, OOTP is the Golden Standard of Baseball Gaming World... it's just too overwhelming for my taste... I have been supporting OOTP and hoping I can conquer the Game incredible depth ... as for the moment, still playing this Gem of a Game... still appease my taste well...
As for the setup, within the game, does apparently come into play... I mean that is a very high wall of 50', especially the tail end of 379' dropping at that distance... I imagine hitting an Ortiz's 430' bomber would definitely clear that height...
