Okay, my regular season ended and I began my off-season. Got up to the Amateur Draft, which went fine. Then, I was asked if I wanted to 'expand my association at this time' ? I clicked 'yes' and got the following error message :
Runtime Error 380 Invalid Property Value
Then, I get a click 'OK or Cancel' option, and the game crashes.
I tried to do this over a few more times but this error message happens every time without fail.
I want to expand my association, so I do not click 'no'.
Anyone else have this issue ? If so, is there a solution ?
Thanks !

Not knowing which mode you were in and the setup when created ... I have, in my experience, since version 5 ... experienced this issue with the Sandbox mode (the only mode I have been playing with using Pudge27 DB) ... I had mentioned this to Shaun, but ended up avoiding the expansion ... (by unchecking the expansion, while creating any future leagues) ... I hated this bug, especially the League has been a good one ... BTW, were you able to continue (can't remembered) after restart by not acknowledging to expand ?? ... if not, then that sucks ... unfortunately, there is no solution 'till Shaun un-retired ... he hasn't been around awhile since March 30th ...

I'm playing a fictional association, with generated players, not MLB. I believe I did 'sandbox' mode, as well, but not really sure, as it was a LONG time ago since I set up the league. ;-) When the game crashes, and I go back to it, the association picks up where it left off at the Amateur Draft. So, the only consolation is that yes, I can return to the game, as it was, but cannot get past trying to add expansion teams. :-( I'm assuming that if I click 'no' on the expansion question, the game will just go on to the next phase, but I REALLY wanted to expand, and it would leave such a bad taste in my mouth if I went on with the association, not being able to expand.

By the way, how do I back up my association, anyways ? I can't seem to find that option in the game..............

Glad to hear that you are able to pick off before the crash ... yes, it does sucks that you will never be able to expand more teams (till Shaun, well never mind ) ... as far as backing up goes, as far as I know, the Game has no capabilities to do that during the season ... however, what I have been doing are by these steps: create a folder called "backup" ... put that folder into the mod folder, and you'll see there is a database folder (why that one existed, I have no idea, other than put the backup folder in there) ... then I copied the original psa folder and placed it in the backup folder ... I usually do this every several days ... so in case, there's a crash, I have a backup ... it not too bad doing this setup, but sheesh - it saves me a ton of crying ...
