Guys, I need some help here...........
I tried installing the new version 6.1 game, and while it said the installation was successful, I get this error message when I try to open the game :
Unable to initialize .NET framework 1.-Reinstall Puresim 2.-Run Puresim as a Administrator
How can I fix this ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have both version 6.0 (build #1) and PS2007 running with no probs, so I'm kinda stumped as to why 6.1 is not working.
Thanks, Boss

Okay, I think I am lost here, and may have tried to install the wrong update version of PS chronologically...........Someone help. :-)
I have this version running :
v1.0 Build #1 (FirstAccessBeta)
I'm getting the vibe from reading notes on the board, that I need to install builds #2-5 before I can install builds #6, 6.1, 6.2, etc. Is this correct ? Is this why my install (mentioned in my note above), did not work ?
If so, how do I get builds #2-5, then, to install them ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks !

First I do not know why you are getting the error. I do know each version/update is the complete game and earlier versions are not required for installs. Hopefully someone smarter than I will show up soon who can help you. Running as Administrator is required. Don

Hey, boss ...
Not sure what's going on ...
If you're using Vista, if I recalled (not sure) on laptop ... there has been issues ... however don't fret ...
I noticed you have mentioned PS2007 (That's AWESOME) ... here's a couple of things you may want to try ... if you have the original copy of PS2007 and the License stored ... then try to delete everything related to PS and just installed PS6.1 ... there may be an interference somewhere ... if the Game works, then install PS2007 with License, afterwards ... you may have to download the latest .NET framework in order to make PS working again ...
This is just from my experience, but I am sure there's a better way than my antique ways ... got nothing to lose ...
JUST remember to move your old MOD folders (faces, logos and parks) to a safe place and copied over the newer version MOD ...

Guys, thanks for the replies. Well, it got weirder. I uninstalled the 6.1 build and when I went to play my version 2007 game, I got this error :
runtime error 7 out of memory
I then tried to play my PS6 version 1 and got the same error !
So, I re-installed the 6.1 build, and both games (2007 and V1) worked again. But not build 6.1. It still gives me the '...initialize' error.
Is build 6.1 a standalone program or does it have to be installed over my version 1 game ? Perhaps that is the issue ?
I'm at a loss, here.
(Yes, jabez.........PS2007 ! :-) Still a great game)

It's a stand alone game, mate ... I would uninstall V6 and install V6.1 ...

Nope, nothing is working. No matter what build 6 I install I keep getting asked to either reinstall the game or run the game as an administrator :
Unable to initialize .NET framework 1.-Reinstall Puresim 2.-Run Puresim as a Administrator
Why is this so ? I have both PS2007 and PS6 v1 running without me being an 'administrator' for those games. What the heck is an 'administrator' anyway ?
Does everyone have to be an 'administrator' to play PureSim now ?

Boss ...
What is your OS?
Right click on your icon for Properties ...
Click on Shortcut ...
Click on Advanced ...
Check on Run as Administrator ...
Click OK ...
Let us know how your Game went ...
Other than that, that is my limit on your issue ... sorry, mate .... Jabez
