Hey guys I'm new here.
On rosters, why is there only 25 major league players and the rest are minor leagues and not 40 major league players?

I wanted more than 25 players on each of my teams in the 13 assoc/30 team set up I am doing (v6.11). So I have set the General Manager tendency setting to NONE (leave roster as is). This keeps all my players on the major squad where I have put them with no trades between teams and no sending players to minors. Sometimes a "Check GM" alert shows up but I just close it. One thing you should note however is that if you have this setting on in an association and you start another new one, the game will not let you add players to the new association until you change all the teams' GM settings in the old association to "Standard". I found this out when I started to load players in my last 9 associations (I had 4 already set up with at least a few players on each team when I set up the 9 other associations). After scratching my head a lot until I figured out why I couldn't pull the players (error 94 if I remember correctly); I changed the GM settings in the 4 current associations back to "Standard". When that was done I then pulled 1 pitcher and 1 position player onto a team in each of the new 9 associations. Once that was done I went back and changed my GM setting back to "None" in the old association that I am already playing. By having players on at least 1 team in a new association, the game does not object to you adding more players later on. I leave the GM setting on "Standard" in these new associations until I have populated the teams with all the players I want on each team, then I change the GM setting to "None" before I start the spring training, this keeps the GM from changing any of the rosters by trades or sending players to minors.
