More than ready to jump back into PS, whether that means simply downloading a new version with the 2016 stats or paying for the same. I'm about to attempt entering my own players into the database and crossing my fingers. Since I don't have Microsoft Access, I will need to convert the files to an Excel table and add to it. Has anyone else ventured down this path before? I converted an old PS batter database and was able to see batters in the Excel table and it looks do-able. There's also a table for pitchers. This would take me a lot of work, but I am willing to try.
UPDATE: This appears to be a pipe dream. I can convert any of the db files to Excel, then edit or add to them. In order to get this to be compatible with PS, I would have to own Access and then convert the file back to that format. I was able to download a new Lahman database in Excel format. Again, I would need MS Access to get this info into Pure Sim.

Clearly you're one of those 60s types whose brain was fried back in the day. Why the f**k would you waste your time with any project connected to this junky abandonware.
See a psychiatrist!

Is it a matter of actually working within the program, or is it a matter of simply converting a file you've worked on in Excel over to a format in Access?
