Hello, All!
I asked this question a couple of years ago and the response was positive but things came up which prevented me from going along with my plan. Things have changed so I wanted to gauge public interest before deciding if I should go along with this or not.
Basically, once again, I'm wondering if there is still an interest in reading/following a player's thread reporting on his management of a team through a long-term dynasty phase? I used to do this a few years back on some of the OLD boards (we're talking Matrix Games old) and I really enjoyed it. I received a lot of positive feedback and some very helpful constructive criticism, both of which served to motivate me to continue doing so. Of course, time passes and things change and soon I was unable to keep updating the team's progress.
However, I've been running an association under an interesting premise and I believe that where the game stands at this time would serve as a fine place to begin reporting again. So, before I put the time, effort and creative writing into this project- I'd like to gauge the public and see if there is any interest in it.
As I posted back when I first did this (I found my original Matix Games post from 12/14/07!):
I wanted to announce my intention to start to post a sort of blog, rant, reporting, or collection of random thoughts regarding a long-running association I'm running. Most importantly, it must be stated that I play and manage each and every one of my team's games; I sim all other games for the day and games when my team has the day off, but I do not simulate any of my own team's games. In all my seasons in all my associations, I have never simulated any of my team's games and I have no intention of starting now. Though there will be the occasional display and discussion about particular games, it won't be so much a sense of stat reporting as it would be a blog written by me, living the life of the team's manager/report in the make-believe (yet frighteningly real) world of The MON Association.
If I do this, would anyone read it?
