Can the schedule for an association be exported to your desk top using the export/import tool? If it can, could one or both teams on a particular day be changed to other team(s)? Could a day that has 5 games scheduled have other games added to that day, i.e. go from 5 games to 13 games? Could the reverse happen to remove games, i.e. 14 games scheduled reduced to 8 games or even none? In this way would it be possible to redo the schedule completely, thus changing the ratio of games played against the other teams? Could this new schedule be imported back into the game and played with all the stats also generated?
How are the current schedules generated? Isn't there some way that the 'balanced schedule' I proposed in another thread could be generated?

I have exported a schedule and created a totally new one using microsoft's notepad. You can change just about anything as long as you do not alter the league structure or the format used for scheduling. After you have made adjustments import the schedule back to your league.

Thank you so much for the information about notepad. I exported a schedule and looked at it in notepad. It seems pretty straight forward so at some point I will try to make schedules for the 7 associations I have set up. I have lots of work yet to do on my Excel lists of hitters and pitchers, hopefully I will get done with that before Christmas this year then start drafting players. I will try to work in the schedule redo at some point. It looks like eventually I will have my schedule where all teams in the association play at least 2 against each other. Those in the same division will play 18 games, against the other 2 divisions' teams they'll play 6 games and match up for 2 games against the 15 teams of the second league for 162 game schedule. I really appreciate your help, thanks again!

Just a quick follow-up on the schedule. I have completed my balanced, yet weighted schedule. I wanted to test it right away while I was working on my now 8 (and possibly 9 associations), so I planned to finish out the 1947 continuous replay Sandbox season i was currently playing to do so and then import the schedule before I started to play it for the 2nd time. I got through the season, was surprised and please when the game produced playoff schedule. Played it but the games kept coming up, more and more, never getting to the World series. So needless to say, I had to delete that 1947 association and I never got the chance to see if my schedule would actually load and play. I am still working on my excel list for hitters and pitchers to do the draft from for the new associations, so it will be a while before I get to try to load the schedules up. For anyone interested in the schedule, I have a notepad text template that I have copied and replaced the game schedule coding on the psc file for each of the 8 association I have already set up. To work up this text file, I first set up a Word file listing all games by a 'numbered sequence', each 'sequence' containing the ball games played between two teams whether over 2, 3 or 4 days. To make sure I got all the 162 games to be played into the schedule and against the correct opponent, balanced home and away games; I entered the sequence numbers into an excel data base to confirm the schedule set-up! If anyone is interested in these 3 documents for their use, please let me know. Shaun, I want to thank you for sharing this wonderful game with all of us; I love baseball and to be able to play all these players against one another will be a lot of fun (if I ever get finished with my set up work). I am keeping my fingers crossed that the schedule I worked up will load so that I can have all the teams in each of the associations able to play at least 2 games against the other 29! Boy, but it was a process for me to get the rough schedule done and then arrange it. Thanks again to every one who helped me (with information) about how to do this!
