My computer crashed and I got a new one. But I lost all my PureSim info. I know there is no way to recover it. But what I would like to do is recreate my roster. I was using a draft league. What would be the best way. I can think of 2 similar options. Start with current rosters and make a whole bunch of trades forcing some through. Running a draft then forcing trades. There is a third option but I don't have the patience, manually draft for every team, so I can get the players I want.

Depending on your crash, did somebody working in that field check it out and say it was toast? If not, you should check into that and if it is something that can be fixed, the expense would be worth it especially if you got your info back and would have a backup puter. What I did a long time ago was buy an external hard drive and put all my games on it. If puter goes down, I can still play games on another puter just by plugging it in. If you had one now, all you would have had to do was plug it into the new one, most likely want a shortcut, so create that and go play your game. Don't want a shortcut, just plug and play. If the external HD goes down, it is most likely replacing the power cord.

It is burnt toast and I had no back up. I am trying to start a new association. Set everything up. Got to a point where teams are thinking. Keeps getting stuck at Miami thinking please wait. Then becomes unresponsive and I have to restart computer. Is there a fix, or just start another association? OK tried starting another association, and had exact same problem with same team Miami. There was one difference first association had 60 players per team second 40. What option do I pick to start with real life rosters?

Before we run around in circles... We need to know what kind of Association you had set up...
Starting what mode, teams, all the ingredients you have had done ...
For I seemed to remembered similar fashions from others, as well as, myself ... awhile back... way back...
let us know... and we'll try to pinpoint the issue and hopefully, the solution...

First off Brand new computer running Windows 10 same as before.
Since I had to install drivers. I completely wiped Pure-sim from my machine. After my last post.
Downloaded the Zip, opened it and set it up with no modifications. But noticed this was 2015 version 6.12b last night was 2014 but used same link(?)
Here is step by step what I did or chose.
New Game
/ mark indicates different attempts changes
Start with 2014 format / Later tried 2015
Rate Players 1-100
Use Finances/Salaries/ Free Agency
Name Replay 2014,/ replay 2014_1/Bob's
Set Red Sox to Hum
50 player roster/ 40 player roster
\Require Fully Stocked
Injuries can occur
Player ratings change in-season
Allow computer trades
import players prior to debut
Fatigue age based
162 games
DH both leagues
5 man rotation
closer
Development true life
seed association with players from 2014/2015 MLB
Game started draft.
Ended Draft.
Went to home screen
Each team started thinking.
Miami/Washington/Miami started thinking and then nothing happened.
Last time I waited over an hour.
You asked for details you got them.

Tried again with 6.12a and 2014 season. changed folder. Used 2014 and 40 man rosters. And again stalled at Miami.
Finally got it to work. Dumped all players into a draft and also used 6.12a since that was working for me as of yesterday.

I had the same problem with that. It is associated with 2015 season. I have 2014 set up. Took a couple of tries to get past the Ps stuff all being a 53. Don't know what does it, but seasons with tru life transactions don't cause as much problems. It has to be one of the options we click on. I wish each association would show what you picked and still give you the option to change one if it isn't working.

My team steals a lot of bases, and now every catcher I face has a cannon for an arm. |
