Granderson led the majors with 45 HRs, Cano led with 138 RBIs. Gardner, Jeter, Granderson and Martin were the top 4 in SBs. I never attempt to steal 3rd unless I have two fast enough guys on 1st and 2nd for the double steal). Four 20 game winners this season and Sabathia, Colon and Burnett were the top three. Eight of my nine starters were double digit HRs. Five had at least 100 RBIs. I even changed my house rule of players going brown to get a day off to green getting a day off so I would have to use my bench more often. They came out of the gate like a bolt of lightning. I did notice later that my SPs started struggling and some of my batters were taking turns at slumping. Granderson hit two rather long slumps ending with only 45 HRs. He had 30 at the All Star break. I kept hoping that tru life transactions would have brought me another SP better than at least my #5, but didn't happen. Freddie Garcia was #4 and #5 started as Phil Hughes. But after an 0-6 start, swapped him to the bull pen and brought up Nova to the #5 spot. He did better. I was only swept in one series in Sep, three games to TB and it ended up as a 4 game losing streak. I was fortunate that the Red Sox also chose that time to have the same losing streak. But tragedy has struck! I won my first playoff game even though Sabathia struggled badly. I went to sim the rest of the day and the first two games went by but the last game froze and gave me a 091 runtime error. I restarted the game and the puter a few times and the same thing. At this point, I am unable to finish the season. I have also tried to get the 2015 season set up, but still cannot get by the Pitcher's stuff all ranking at 53 on a 1-100 scale. I wanted to do the Astros. Will have to think of something else for the time being and keep trying. I have a BB Encyclopedia that only goes through 90 or 91. But what I was thinking about was maybe Baltimore in mid to late 80s when they went through a bunch of players, whether it was due to injuries, trades or low durability so that I get too spend an entire season of juggling the roster every day. I seek to avoid a team that has a bunch of players play upwards of 145-150 games played. I do have 2014 set up and could play every game allowing AIs to conduct trades. Don't know how well that works. One of these days, I am going to try that challenge mode. I still wish we could get that for managers but go as long as we want it to go, not just maybe 5 seasons. Get fired and take a job with another team and just keep going no matter the team you get. Would be cool too that you are doing pretty good and another team makes you an offer to come over. maybe the challenge would be to make it several categories like points for every win you get, x amount of points for every win over the previous season, minus points for less wins that the previous season. also, possibly have a decent to good team make you an offer to come manage so you don't always have to take the reins of bad teams. Then again, there have been winning teams change managers before. I'll figure something out.

I kept looking over my shoulder at the Red Sox the whole season. I win 5 games, they would be on a 5 win streak. I went on 11 win streak and those rotten bastards were on a 10 game streak. Grrrrrr! Most of the season, they spent 6-8 games behind me. The difference is they had a worse slump at the end when I had the4 game losing streak.

Damn Yankees! Eh winning in the PEDs ERA don't mean much to me anyway. That is why I prefer with all baseball simulations to be going through older seasons although right now I am going through the 1987 season which had steroids users in it for sure with that A's team.
