I just noticed Kyle Lohse's one year contract for $61,465,999.00. See attached screenshot.

Not Bad for an oldster ... well, what can you say - New York has that kind of money - and we're wondering why the Mets hasn't been winning, these days ...

I've seen quite a few large contracts in the first year and many take a pay cut for you and others end up taking what they take on the FA market. I don't think it will stay at 61 mil. If it does and nobody signs him, most likely end up retiring.

Well, Mark is correct ... What I have noticed, is during the Free Agents period, if no one sign these high players - either they begin to reduced their demands or ended up not getting signed before the initial season to begin ... if you play or sim one game at a time, start checking their demands ... you'll begin to see it has drastically reduced or not ... then you can snatch them for a good price ... but I rather utilized my drafts and players that are on my team, then having these high demands players ... it's the chemistry and the balance that I seek ... just my two pesos worth ...
