Hi,
I updated from "PureSim Baseball 2007" (dunno the version, if it has any) to v6.11 today and migrated my 3 years old fantasy league as well...everything seems to work good, except I noticed AI tend to substitute like 3 or 4 pitchers in the first inning of the game - each after just one BF...they only do this in 1st inning and not in all games...it is not because of the injury...
It is obviously ruining pitcher's records - dozens of them are getting corrupted appearances with 0.0 or 0.1 IP...
I only played 5 games in the new season so far, but I need to stop this for the future
Any possible help?

ellrohir - WELCOME to the forum, mate ...
First, the Game between PS 2007 and PS 6.1 are night and day ... you can't migrate the the old Assn to the current ... you will get astounding errors, such as you have witnessed ... actually, I'm surprised you were able to play that many games .... the current AI has different codes to compliment the Windows 8 version ... unfortunately, you will have to start a new Assn ... however, all the Mods will work ...
Luck of the Irish to you, mate ...

is there at least a way how to export players data and use them in newly started association?

Ell ...
You would think there would be a way to do this, but I'm not that good in figuring this out, I'm afraid ... fortunately, after playing in so many creative leagues in nine years, I do enjoy creating new leagues, and finding new heroes to watch ...
There may have been a solution or two to your suggestion, but I believed all the great "techies" has moved on - leaving Shaun to his hiatus till he return ...

Ok I have not had happen what the OP speaks of but yes there are default managers in this game that need some tweaking. I have seen more than a few questionable managerial moves in regards to pitching choices for starters and in relief.

I'm in the same boat, ellrohir.
I had two associations I had begun back when it was PureSim 2005, in one I had managed each game for 13 seasons, in the other I had gone 11. I was really attached to them from the time I invested and the memories of watching players grow and succeed (and fail), remembering epic moments, close calls and amazing game winning moments- including one time where I was managing a game and my pitcher threw a no-hitter; even my WIFE was happy for me!
Anyway, even with all that attachment, as Oldtimer said, they never translate over too well. It's like trying to get an old, old DOS game to run on Windows- you might get it to work, but not everything functions as it should. I was able to play one of the two associations (the other would crash the moment a game would begin), but the errors and weird behavior just ruined it for me. I keep them just to look up player names and remember this guy and that guy and the fun e-times we had.
Sorry we didn't have better news for you.

I hope someone could answer this, but I have similiar problems as op. I downloaded the 6.12 and created an assc. Soemtimes, not all the time, the AI subtitutes a pitcher after one bat/inning. How can I solve this? I imported managers to each team, might this be the reason why?

It may be manager's preference to platoon, pinch hit, or sub for an injured player. I've never imported managers, and I have never had that problem. So that could be the cause of the pinch hitting.
