I, personally, want to welcome new members to the PureSim Baseball Forum ...
As I see the list has been growing since, it's inception here ... I know there are some of you or maybe all of you had been a member of the Wolverines Studio ... or maybe even further to the Matrix Forum ... Good to see you all ...

Are you saying, that your Game does not fill-up the screen completely but partial ?? ... Glenn (KG) mentioned something like this in another thread ... it may be intentional, by Shaun ... in order to have the screen to meet all specifications, in a standard way, to run smoothly ... ask him ...

Mine is the same way. Would be cool if he could make it to where it shows one size fits all by allowing people to move the whole screen to the left and then grabbing the right side and drag it to full screen. That would solve all the settings. I don't know what the graphics would look like in all modes as they will stretch along with the entire window. But most times I have ever experienced it, it seems to work.

Alright, alright. I've held out registering for this forum because of the way Shaun just picked up his marbles at Wolverine and moved here and then vaporized yet again. But it's his game and his life, therefore...so bet it!
I'm blaming catknight for making me break my silent (and foolish and useless) protest. His comments in two threads tonight made me laugh (out loud even). But I'll comment further about that in those threads. Another prompter was prisonerno6's Jack Kerouac baseball card game thread which was classic.
All-in-all there have been some excellent threads and postings here.

Hey pointguard:
First thanks, and welcome aboard!
I realize Shaun's disappearing can be disheartening, but in all fairness he was pretty up front about this. PureSim is free now, which means he'll work on it pretty much on his own schedule. He set the expectation pretty low, but at least he told us what to expect. I'll look on anything else, seasons like another person posted about or further refinements, as a gift.
In the meantime, as you said, there are some excellent threads here. Special kudos to prisoner and the monk for finding us interesting topics to talk about.

Hey Pointguard, First, thanks for all your support in the past I made the game free because I can't carve out sufficient time to warrant charging for new releases annually at this point. I wish I could work on it 24x7, but PS just can't pay the bills, so I figured making it free, and trying to work on it when I can is the best compromise. I wish I had more time for PS. It actually costs me money in hosting and bandwidth now, but at least I can sleep at night not worrying about paying customers demanding (deservedly so!) updates Shaun

If you go the way of ads to pay for your website, hopefully try and keep it baseball or at least sports related. I would think MLB would want to support all decent baseball sims to help drive interest in the sport itself. I have seen a few kids and grandkids become interested in baseball because I showed their dads the website and how to obtain and setup the game for as much as I know, anyway. The kids/grandkids would show up while they were messing with the game and now they want to play everytime they are over and am sure they will have their own at home soon, if not already.

I've spent about $100 on this game over the years, and every penny has been well-spent. Shaun can take as much time as he needs to offer updates, as this game is a labor of love. PS is one of my all-time favorites, and I'm still playing it on a regular basis. It is one of the best gaming investments I've ever made, and he can count me as a lifelong investor.

I understand that it's not a paying proposition for you and that you need to focus on your family and business first. I'm not really all the concerned about updates since the game is working well for me as it is. Actually, what I prefer is for you just to hop onto the threads every so often and make a few responses.
