I have no problems with the sliders or the AI Manager. But the GM AI roster management sucks. Now I play fictional, but good players and pitchers are sent to the minors and scrubs play. And each Post Season I have to go to each teams roster and promote the good ones and demote the scrubs. Poor player usage is another big problem, followed by the GM not stocking enough players at one position and too many at another. Who needs 7 first basemen and only 2 catchers? Or 4 starters and 21 relievers. These are my pet peeves. Don PS, So Shaun would see this

Don...Totally and completely AGREE! The stronger and more adept the AI can be made, the better.

I'll go along with this. I play historical, but the one thing that really bothers me is the lack of initiative displayed by the AI GMs in making trades. What is especially irksome is the ridiculous offers that the AI makes when approaching me about a player it's allegedly interested in. If it were a human, I'd just say "eff off".

This is the reason I would like to see the 100 man roster with 25 on each MLB, AAA, AA and A with assigned positions. Seven 1B would be possible when occupying 1B, DH and Bench. But if added that bench players also have assignments to backup certain positions like 1B, LF and DH or DH could just be a given for everybody since it is only batting anyway. If you have 11 RPs for your entire staff on a minor league team, 5 would be assigned as SPs and one as CL so they would be in the process of being groomed for something they weren't meant to be same as wanting an OF who is declining move to 1B and needs some experience there.

Catchers.
I haven't played any updated versions of the game, but in the original PS6 "FirstAccess Beta" version that I have, teams are allergic to catchers. It's not uncommon for a team to show an exhausted catcher still getting the start because there are no other catchers available on the team. I've seen them demote and/or cut perfectly good backups.
I believe it's commonplace for a team to have 2 catchers; maybe even 3 (in the event they can serve as backup for another position). However, I'm finding that running along with just 1 catcher in the Majors is becoming the norm- I believe there was even a case once of there being a team with NO catchers at all!

In my association, currently in year 98, I am still seeing that either a team will have no catchers or will be carrying 7+ catchers.
