"""BTW, what Baseball Game are you playing with ... for I do find the other Baseball Sims, has more options and harder to grasp for me as oppose to PureSim - easier to manipulate from screen to screen, and the setting up the League ..."""
IMO, If Shaun gave us everything we wanted, including the extra stuff I'd like to see, PS would have everything and more than any other and would just completely stomp the crap out of any other as long as he maintains the one thing that is key throughout his sim and that is keeping it user friendly!!!
Whatever he patches, only those files need downloading rather than the entire exe unless he did some things in there that require it. I still say he should compile a list of wants from everybody and have it updated to contain the list so we can all follow along. he just picks one thing and goes for it. Put it up for download when he is done and then pick a second thing and go for it and just keep going. But definitely keep the game screens user friendly and nobody could touch PS. IMO, it is almost untouchable now, the others just don't realize it yet.

Unfortunately it's a little more serious than that, Tomas. The site where Padresfan was storing all the PureSim mods has been allowed to expire. They're currently inaccessible.

Hi Mac, I'm a bit late with this, but seeing as how you were a Seals fan and visitor to the classic Seals Stadium in the late forties, you must remember the unique stadium backstop--all GLASS!...I remember how incredulous it seemed to baseball fans outside of the bay area, to be playing pro games in front of a glass screen!...We wondered, how nervous were fans setting behind home plate when foul balls flew directly back at them?...Anyway, check out this Associated Press story in the Deseret newspaper in 1947...Do you suppose Bill Veeck was roaming around San Francisco about that time?... You must search out the article on page 15, in the sports section. Just keep sliding the display from left to right; the article is near the top of the page, under the Sports logo and the Major Standings heading... news.google.com/newspapers?nid=336&dat=19470521&id=Ats0AAAAIBAJ&sjid=kXcDAAAAIBAJ&pg=4523,2724772 Lee PS--My apologies for inserting this post in the midst of other discussions...Perhaps we should start a new forum topic, devoted to the PCL..(LOL)

What does one do for mods if all sites have expired?

Well, there's OOTPMODS ... they have a great variety of Logos, Park pics, Face Photos and little goodies that will work with PureSim ... only tools you will need is a batch resizer (I use the FastStone Photo Resizer - free) and a Paint.Net - free (or similar software) ... with these two, I have been able to utilize their fantastic talents of group of mates, who specialize these goodies, for OOTP ... and imported them into PureSim folders ...
As soon as, Shaun make a Mod thread available for us to put together to download - Logos, Photos, Parks and extras - I'll contribute what I have been gleaming from OOTPs ... I'm sure there are other mates, here, will do the same ... till now, we'll have to wait for Shaun ...

Hey guys, are there any Puresim mods available anywhere these days, in particular templates and league set-ups? I cant seem to find anything in my googling attempts. Also, didnt Puresim at one time allow up to 40 teams in an association?

I also have searched and not been able to find any mods. Too bad the Padresfan site is down. I bought the game about 3 years ago and uploaded a lot of the information onto an old computer. I played the game back in 2012 or so and enjoyed the mods.
I'll have to try and boot up that machine and recover the files. Not so easy since it's in storage but I'll see what I can do. I didn't have all the mods, but I had a few.
